Safran Signs Contract with Bell Helicopters

There was an article posted on Aerotime which talks about how Safran has signed a 5Star Plans contract will Bell Helicopter’s Training Academy. This training academy is used to support Airrus 2R engines which are operated by Bell 505 customers.

The 5Star Plans is dedicated to help customers that are operating up to five helicopters which allows for services that covered scheduled and unscheduled events, standard exchange, warranty extension, and preferential engine pool access. This service is done by the hour support.

It is perfectly tailored to support their demanding training missions where maximizing aircraft availability is a key parameter."

To this date, there are over 3000 Arrius engines Safran has delivered to each of its 430 customers that are located in 60 countries around the globe.
